  • Mô tả: The aim of the present article is to demonstrate, as our predecessors did, that the self told stories collected from an interviewed individual are composed of a series of wellelaborated elements. Sometimes, the stories are censured by their own storyteller, in other situations these are merely reshaped on the basis of an archetype. Our aim is to show that the study of the biography (which includes both the psychological and social profile of an interviewed individual) of an informant is imperative for an honest interpretation of the resulted material. In this article, the informant is Nicolae Vadan, nicknamed Niculaie a Petrii Curtii, born in 1921, in Rusesti hamlet, Tara Motilor region (Transylvania). He is the oldest man in his village, the repository of an extraordinary spiritual heritage from the villages Marisel and Râsca. The aim of the study is also to extract the main themes of Nicolae Vadan's narrative texts. The research will focus on only one of these: the reminiscenses of the Habsburgic myth.
