  • Mô tả: A study was conducted to analyze the use of student evaluations of teaching and alternative or supplementary means of evaluating teaching in economic departments. Ratings on different dimensions of teaching focuses on a number of variables, such as instructor enthusiasm and organization. Results indicated that peer review of teaching is utilized by only 37% of the economics departments at research universities. Moreover, classroom observations is the most common type of peer review of teaching.
