  • Mô tả: Four amidato divalent lanthanide complexes, {LLn[N(TMS)]THF} [ = 1, Ln = Eu (); = 2, Ln = Eu (), Yb (); HL = BuCHCONHCH(Pr); HL = CHCONHCH(Pr)] and {LEu[N(TMS)]THF}{LEu(THF)} () [HL = ClCHCONHCH(Pr)], were synthesized and extensively characterized. This is the first time that the amidato lanthanide amides – were used to catalyze the reactions of CO and 2‐aminobenzonitriles to form quinazoline‐2,4(1,3)‐diones at atmospheric pressure. All the complexes efficiently catalyzed the transformation, with complex showing the highest activity. This catalytic system gave good to excellent yields, and good functional group tolerance. Preliminary studies were conducted to investigate the reaction mechanism. Four divalent lanthanide amidato amides, two of which were newly synthesized and characterized, were introduced to catalyze the reaction of CO and 2‐aminobenzonitriles to form quinazoline‐2,4(1,3)‐diones at atmospheric pressure.
